Marc Morrone Pet Expert
Born in the Bronx, Marc Morrone and his family moved to Long Island, NY when he was a child. By the time he was 18, his collection of animals had outgrown his parents' house. So, Marc and his partner, Nick Guerra, pooled their money and in 1978 opened Parrots of the World, a pet shop specializing in birds, ferrets and pets other than dogs and cats.
With the success of Parrots of the World, Marc was recognized as a pet expert, and was then signed on by Metro TV as a pet consultant and host of “Pet Keeping with Marc Morrone”. The presentation of the different groups of pets interacting with each other, as well as the original and helpful information offered, made the show an instant success. Marc also became a recurring guest on "Martha Stewart Living". He is now the host of Mag Rack's new series, "The Pet Shop with Marc Morrone".
He currently resides in Rockville Center, New York with his wife and son, and a house full of pets, and still owns and operates Parrots of the World, also located in Rockville Center.
