Welcome

Young adults want to be seen and heard. Student Voices will give your students an online forum to learn about the issues that are relevant to their lives. Power to Learn will give them a place to voice their opinions in written and videotaped formats and potentially reach thousands.

Every two weeks a new question will be posted, with links to a topics archive with learning activities, designed to bring your students up-to-speed on the issue being debated.

Worksheets, quizzes and how-to guides will be available to help your students:

• Understand the editorial question.
• Gather important information about the topic.
• Organize their thoughts into a coherent opinion.
• Present that opinion in a written or video editorial.
• Be heard by their friends, schoolmates, family and members of our local communities.
